Players
Add everyone playing tonight to a local roster. Names live on this device — no account, no sign-up. Each player tracks wins, losses and win streaks.
OpenProfiles & photos
Add a photo or selfie to any player — tap the palette on their card. Photos are compressed and stored only on this device; they never get uploaded.
OpenName themes
Tap the palette on any player to give their name a gradient theme — Pickle Bolt, Serve Fire, Electric Ace and more. It shows everywhere their name appears.
OpenShare a profile
Tap the QR icon on a player, then Share — send their profile by message, mail or social with your phone’s share sheet, or let a friend scan the QR. Peer-to-peer, no account, no server.
OpenPlayer card
From a player’s share sheet, download a polished profile card — photo, stats, recent matches, plus who umpired and recorded each game. Opens in any browser and prints to PDF.
OpenBack up your data
On Ranks, tap Back up / Restore to save a complete copy of everything as a file — or load one back. Perfect for moving to a new phone. It all stays on your device.
OpenUmpire & scorer
When you record a result you can optionally pick who umpired and who entered the score. They show on Ranks, in exports, and on the downloadable player card.
OpenFix a result
Recorded a wrong score? On Ranks, tap the pencil on any result to correct the score, flip the winner, change the umpire/scorer, or delete it — W/L and streaks stay in sync.
OpenExport records
Save your leaderboard and history as a PDF (print), a Word doc, or a CSV — all generated on your device. Great for league nights.
OpenMatch area
Each court is Open or Live. Tap Start on an open court, choose singles or doubles, pick the players per side, and play. A court can never be double-booked.
OpenWaiting area
When courts are full, send players to the waiting area. It is a first-in, first-out queue, and those players are suggested first when you start the next match.
OpenRecords & ranks
Recording a result updates every player’s W/L and win-rate, frees the court, and adds to the leaderboard and recent-results history.
OpenWin streaks
Back-to-back wins build a streak — a flame badge appears at 2+ and turns red when a player is on fire (3+). A loss resets it.
OpenAuto-rotate
Toggle auto-rotate on the Play tab and freed courts fill themselves from the front of the waiting queue. Or tap “Next Up” on any open court to rotate them on manually.
OpenMatch timers
Every live match shows a running clock, and completed games record how long they took — visible in recent results and head-to-head.
OpenHead-to-head
On Ranks, tap H2H to compare any two players’ record against each other as opponents, including their last meeting.
OpenRun a court night
- 1Add your players on the Players tab — a name is enough; add a photo or theme if you like.
- 2Got a friend’s shared profile? Tap Import (QR, code or file) to bring them in.
- 3Go to Play → Start on an open court.
- 4Pick singles or doubles, then assign players to Team A and Team B.
- 5When the game ends, tap Record Result and enter the final score — optionally pick the umpire and who recorded it.
- 6Made a mistake? Fix any result later from Ranks (the pencil icon).
- 7Extra players? Send them to the Waiting area to hold their spot.
- 8Share a profile by QR, or download a player card (stats + results) from any player’s share sheet.
- 9Export the night’s leaderboard to PDF, Word or CSV from Ranks.

FAQ
Where is my data stored?
Entirely in this browser (localStorage) — including profile photos. Nothing is uploaded. Clearing your browser data — or using another device — starts fresh.
How does sharing work without a server?
The QR code (or copy-paste code / file) literally contains the profile. Another device reads it and saves it locally — the app is just the bridge. No account, no cloud, nothing stored online.
Are profile photos private?
Yes. A photo is shrunk and stored only on your device. It’s sent to another phone only if you explicitly share that profile, and even then it travels inside the share code — never through a server.
Can I fix or delete a recorded match?
Yes — on Ranks, tap the pencil on any result to correct the score, flip the winner, change the umpire/scorer, or delete it. Player win/loss records and streaks are recalculated automatically.
How do I log the umpire and who recorded a match?
They’re optional. When you tap Record Result, an “Officials” section lets you pick an umpire and a scorer from your roster. They appear on Ranks, in CSV/Word/PDF exports, and on the downloadable player card — and you can set or change them later from the edit (pencil) screen.
What’s the downloadable player card?
From any player’s share sheet (the QR icon), “Download card” saves a standalone HTML profile — photo, stats, recent matches and each game’s umpire & scorer. It opens in any browser and prints to PDF. The share QR and code are embedded, so the card doubles as a peer-to-peer share. Nothing is uploaded.
How do I move my data to a new phone, or keep it safe?
On Ranks, tap Back up / Restore → Download backup to save a single file with everything (players, photos, records, settings). On the other device, choose Restore from file and pick it. The file stays with you — nothing is uploaded.
Does it work offline?
Yes. It is an installable PWA; once loaded, the app shell is cached and everything runs without a connection.
Why can’t I remove a player or court?
Players and courts that are in a live match are locked. Finish or cancel the match first.
Can scores be a tie?
No — pickleball games have a winner, so equal scores are rejected when recording a result.
What does auto-rotate do?
When enabled (Play tab), finishing or cancelling a match instantly starts the next one on that court using the players waiting at the front of the queue — doubles if four are waiting, otherwise singles.
